Had to wait for a table as it was quite busy on a long weekend here, but well worth the wait for the lakeside patio table! Had the ribeye. Bit confusing on the menu, as it has "Chorizo" in the name of the dish but it was exactly what I wanted. Cost about 30 can. A splurge or special occasion restaurant. They also have cheaper small bites I might go back and try the empanadas!

We went to Barrio Q for our anniversary dinner and we are so glad we did! The atmosphere is so beautiful. We sat by the window and enjoyed a martini while the sun was setting. We started with the saluted mushrooms. They were so tasty! For our entree, we both had the Hacha, which is a Baby Tomahawk steak. I had mine with asparagus and my husband had a baked potato. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection. Our server, Miracles, was fantastic. She helped us pick out the perfect wine to accompany our meal. As we finished our meal, it started to rain. A perfect reason to stay for one more glass of wine. When we did finally leave, Miracles walked us to our car with umbrellas. Such amazing service!

Another restaurant in Ajijic that makes you want to eat out at restaurants for all of your meals! From the talent of the live performer serenading the patrons, the beautiful view from a restaurant built on top of the lake, and most importantly a great tasting meal in the company of family and friends! We were a table of two. We had 2 empenadas to start, salads, split a pizza and a desert. I also partook in the extensive list of tequilas and made it a bit of a tequila tasting event as well! We left completely satisfied with this meal and were glad we chose to eat here!

Food was excellent. The views were amazing, and the service was fantastic. Our server was friendly and even made a few menu recommendations that turned out very well. Would definitely come back when visiting again.

Each time my wife and I visit Ajijic, we always have dinner at the restaurant Barrio De Quilmes. Each visit the staff and friendly, knowledgeable, and speak both Spanish and English (Menu’s available in both Spanish and English) Alex, Restaurant Manager friendly, engaging, and checks in with his guests. Our Server, America, wow, genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and caring. My wife asked for a glass of red wine and without looking at the menu, shared what was available and a description. As always, food is amazing with such a nice variety to choose from. Can’t wait until our next visit to town!

Nice place right on the water! Entrance was accessible but there are stairs leading from the beach path so I'm not 100% how someone might enter...possibly only from the beach side. Good food! Nice staff!

Right along Lake Chapala. Friendly staff! Professional manager, with trained wait staff. The table next to mine were raving about their steak, and the salmon looked delicious. I can vouch for the shrimp empanadas , so good. Great place to sit along the lake, enjoy some food and beverages, and take in the environment.

Had a wonderful time dining here! Staff speaks English and Spanish. My waiter was so nice and even talked with me for a while. The food was amazing. I have celiac disease and there was definitely a lot of gluten free options here. I got the salmon with pesto. It was wonderful!!! I also had flan for dessert. I was seated right next to the lake. The view was amazing. Perfect restaurant for a date night!
